Good update bug some bugs

On iPhone 6+ if I launch the wikipanion app while the phone is in landscape the entire app will be displayed incorrectly. App should support landscape on the 6+

Sexy and sleek

Wikipanions interface is simple and sleek. Its sexy. I love the app and its just a pleasure to use. I would like to have the ability to open multiple tabs.

Crashing

In the course of this update trying to change wikis resulting in the app crashing. Its quite infuriating. Please fix this.

Best Wikipedia App, Hands Down

Theres really not much more to say. This app is beautiful because its interface is so clean and intuitively simple. Queue, iCloud syncing, bookmarks, search history are the best features. I love being able to "Search within Page" to find specific words or phrases in an article. HOWEVER, I wish that feature had a dedicated "button" at the bottom of the screen. Its just beautiful. It is by far my most-utilized non-Apple app. Well worth it!

Jmrisch

The text is too big for my IPad Air. I cant find a way to adjust it and would like a refund. I bought it about a half hour ago.

Awesome app, please fix the memory leak

I love the app, and use it quite bit. All menu items are in the right places, everything formatted right for the phone. The only issue is gradually its taking longer and longer to load, I assume some kind of memory leak. So I just reinstall the app, and it becomes fast again. No big deal, easy workaround.

An Exquisite art work but

Add dark theme or more please

Encyclopedias are alphabetic

Forgets this basic fact. Lame.

Amazing. Simply Stunning.

The Good • The Wikipanion app does a better job of displaying the content from Wikipedia than anyone, including Wikipedia itself. • The Plus features are essential to the experience. Offline browsing and the queue make people want to use Wikipedias popular content. • Full screen reading suggest reading without distraction and using the entire screen. • A design that is so beautiful yet simple. Focus on what you are learning, not on how its displayed. The Bad • The transition from portrait to landscape moves the displayed content further down the article instead on the current content. Please remove the status bar while reading an article.

Latest update crashes ...

Ive had this app installed on every iPhone Ive owned for the last 4-5 years. It has been a great way to view Wikipedia & other wikis. However, this latest update has the app crashing and LOSING all of the history, all of the pages that you have visited. Sometimes I start reading an article on a specific topic, and that article leads me to any number of related (or unrelated!) pages. I can then go back through previous pages to the original article. But now that the app is crashing, all the history is wiped. This is not good performance from a $5 app. Until this "crash bug" is corrected, I might as well go back to accessing Wikipedia through a browser. At least my page history would remain intact. I do hope the problem is sorted out soon, because when this app works properly, it completely merits 5 stars. Right now, not so much.

Please change the icon color

This is a great app. It works well with Wikipedia and all manner of other wikis. Its very easy to create customized wikis, which is why I purchased this app. That said, theres a couple of improvements that could make this better. First is the icon. I use Wikipanion and Wikipanion Plus- one for Wikipedia and one for custom wikis. The problem is that the icons are identical, which means that Im constantly tapping the wrong one. A simple color change would fix this. The second issue is Wookieepedia- the Star Wars wiki. The text tends to render on top of each other- making it unreadable.

Addicted to Wikipanion Plus

thanks to apps ability to access/switch between Wikipedia and custom Wikis, Ive been getting greater use of Wikiquote. * * * I am constantly on this thing. The added features in this paid version is worth the price. The bookmarking feature is so helpful.

Great app

A fantastic app but needs a Sepia tone background option.

Good, but could be better

For one, I was promised offline mode. Also, if I click on a picture I just get a link to a png or a pdf and the picture wont open. I do like having an automatic link to Wiktionary, though.

Tried and True

I try others from time to time but always come back to herè

Still the best

Ive tried others, but this one is still the best. So clean and fun to use. Feature request: a "dark mode" much like iBooks or Alien Blue.

Indispensable

Needs iCloud sync and ability to upload topics for the 5th star. It is my most used app.

Still good

Wikipanion is easily one of my most used apps. It has always worked for me for years. I love reading Wikipedia and this app makes the experience as good as it can be. Good job dev
